Malbec is a traditional variety forgotten in the region of Blaye because to difficult to maitain quality. Yet it is this same grape that allowed us a few times to make unique wines. Atypical wines and really different from the rest of our range. Beautiful wine for the tasting with enormous potential for keeping.

Variety : 100% Malbec

Age of the Vines : 45 ans de moyenne d’age

Yield : 20HL/Ha

Grounds : Presence of clay-limestone grounds with clay silt changes.

Vinification : Cold maceration 3 to 5 days before fermentation - Pumping over everyday - Temperature control by thermoregulation - Natural fermentation with natural yeasts.

Aging : 18 months in Barrels (50% New)

Tasting Notes : Fruit and spice aromas, light tobacco, and up to violet.

 Aging Potential : 20 years and more

 Tasting Advices : Can be matched with all red meats, French Southwestern dishes and cheese. Can be decanted an hour before tasting. Serve at 16-17°C.
